Amy Adams is hoping "The Ten Best Days of My Life" can get her through the pearly gates.
Adams has been tapped to star in Twentieth Century Fox's adaptation of Adena Halpern's novel, according to Variety. The book follows Alex Dorenfield, a woman sent to Heaven after a car crash who must prove her worth (by recounting the ten best days of her life, natch) or be demoted to a grungier level of Paradise.
Adams, 34, is best known for her roles in the fairy tale "Enchanted" and the period comedy "Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day." In 2009, she hits the big screen in "Julie & Julia" and "Sunshine Cleaning."
