Danny Granger

Danny Granger's ailing left knee isn't getting better--and now he is expected to miss up to three months.

The Indiana Pacers announced Wednesday that Granger had an injection in his sore knee to treat patellar tendinosis. Dr. James Andrews performed the procedure in Gulf Breeze, Fla.

According to Pacers medical personnel, Granger's recovery time will be approximately three months. The Pacers star missed most of the team's preseason games before playing in the final two.

The team announced on Oct. 30 that Granger would be out "indefinitely" after feeling pain in his knee.
