Jeremiah Johnson

Indiana High School Athletic AssociationFox Sports (tv network)

An Indiana sports fan in every way...Jeremiah Johnson is fulfilling a life-long dream to broadcast sports in Indianapolis.

Growing up in Peru, Indiana, Jeremiah never missed a local sportscast...while his Tigers weren't featured often on Friday nights, he learned about the passion it takes to succeed in this business. After graduating from Ball State University in 2000, Jeremiah got his feet wet in the sports-crazy region of Eastern Kentucky while working at WYMT. Jeremiah comes to Fox 59 after spending three years as the weekend sports anchor at WTWO, in Terre Haute.

Jeremiah hosts the Football Friday Night and the Friday Night Fast Break during the high school sports seasons. He also co-anchors Fox 59 Sports Overtime on Sundays in addition to reporting throughout the week. Aside from his duties at Fox 59, Jeremiah has spent time working for Fox Sports Indiana on Pacers Live Post-Game and serves as a sideline reporter on the IHSAA Champions Network.

It's especially rewarding for Jeremiah to work in front of so many friends and family, as his parents still live in Peru. Jeremiah enjoys "occasionally" getting away from the sports world with his high school sweetheart wife, Alisha and their four-year old son Preston.
