Hardworking school children attend special carnival

McAfee, Inc.

Some hardworking kids got to take a once in a lifetime field trip Tuesday.

About 200 students from Clarence Farrington Elementary got to check out a special carnival set up just for them!

The event, called Jus' Cuz, took place at Rock Bottom Restaurant and brewery on the north side.

Along with some games and lunch, the kids also got to hang out with IndyCar Driver Simona de Silvestro, Colts punter Pat McAfee and former Colt Gary Brackett.

"(We’re just) encouraging them to do well, continuing to do stuff in the summer time, be active,” said Gary Brackett.

"I think it shows them that there's people in the community that care about them and their well-being and that's a big deal when you're that age,” said Colin Kalbfleisch, Rock Bottom College Park’s General Manager.

Two private donors put on this party every year for deserving kids.

The students also received vouchers for new school uniforms as well.
