Forbes.com announced Monday that two Central Indiana suburbs are among the Top 25 Suburbs for Retirement. The list includes suburbs from 22 different states. Both Fishers and Munster made the list.
Suburbs included on the less are less than 25 miles from the center of a large city and have an average home price below $400,000. The list also considered the cost of living, tax climate and the availability of hospitals, among other things.
The unranked list said Fishers had the lowest crime rate of the suburbs included. Fisher's cost of living also helped secure its spot on the list.
