Trey Anastasio's forthcoming solo album, Traveler, which is set to be released by Rubber Jungle / ATO Records October 16, was produced in Bridgeport, Conn. at Peter Katis' Tarquin Studios last fall, according to a release on Phish.com.
Some of Katis' production credits include The National, Interpol, Jonsi, The Swell Season, Frightened Rabbit, Interpol and Bridgeport artists Mates of State (who were kind enough to lend Anastasio Kori Gardner's talents). Also appearing on Traveler are The National's Bryan Devendorf and Matt Berninger and Icelandic percussionist Samuli Kosminen.
The first single on the album, "Scabbard," will be released August 21, and several tour dates have been announced, none of which happen to take place in Connecticut. Oh well.
