Singer-songwriters (and roots-music power couple) Jason Isbell and Amanda Shires will play Hartford's Arch Street Tavern on August 4, according to Manic Productions.
Isbell, a former member of the Drive-By Truckers and the focus of a recent, lengthy New York Times Magazine profile by Dwight Garner, played Hartford for the first time last June, when he shared a bill with Shires at the Wadsworth Atheneum. (Here's our interview with him.) He returned in December for a show at Arch Street Tavern, with Communist Daughter opening.
Tickets go on sale this Friday at manicproductions.org or at Redscroll Records in Wallingford.Copyright © 2014, The Baltimore Sun
