Greenfest

City Center Danbury
Danbury

Festival with booths by environmental organizations, bands, food and more.  Bands include Mystic Bowie, Phoenix Band, Grimm Generation, Marc Huberman and Ports of Spain, among others.  Starts at noon and goes until 10:30.

Click it for Cassie Softball Tournament

A softball tournament to benefit Click it for Cassie, a foundation dedicated to the importance of seat belts (named in honor of car crash victim Cassie Geary).  Admission is free.

Children's Beach Party

Stratford

Stratford’s Short Beach Island hosts a Pirate Party for children from 11am – 3pm.  There will be a live pirate show, games, arts and crafts, a treasure hunt, music and more.  Admission is $5 a person, but children two and under get in free.  Proceeds will be donated to Connecticut Voices for Children.
