HENRICO COUNTY, VA (WTVR) - A Henrico County man is charged with driving under the influence and two counts of hit and run. Henrico Police say at 2:45 p.m. on Tuesday, June 21, 2011 they responded to a hit and run at the intersection of Patterson and Forest Avenues. The victim told police she was stopped at a red light when another car hit her car from behind. Police say the driver of that car reversed and continued driving north onto Forest Avenue. Five minutes later police say they received a second call about a similar hit and run. Using descriptions from witnesses, police tracked down the suspect's car at a gas station at the intersection of Parham and Quioccasin Roads. Police say it was "quickly determined" the driver was under the influence of intoxicants. Police arrested 42-year-old Joel P. Price after having him perform field sobriety tests.
