LI Teen Arrested For Threatening To 'Shoot Up' His High School

A Long Island teenager was arrested early Thursday morning, a month after he threatened to "shoot up" his high school.

Nassau County Police say 17-year-old Anthony Larosa was arrested just before 12:30 a.m. for making a terroristic threat on on Douglas McArthur High School in Levittown, on Wednesday, October 13 at 3:30 p.m.

Detectives say an assistant prinicpal at the school was alerted to graffiti on a bleacher at nearby Town of Hempstead Park, near Willowood Drive and Sand Hill Road.

Larosa allegedly scribbled, "I am going to shoot up McArthur on Friday 10/15/10" and "This is not a joke."

Larosa is due in First District Court in Hempstead, where he will be arraigned on charges of making a terroristic threat, making graffitti and third-degree criminal mischief.
