Miss USA Winner Drawing Ire for Racy Pictures

Dearborn, Michigan's Rima Fakih made her state proud last night, after becoming the first Arab-American and the first immigrant to win the Miss USA Pageant.

However, the beauty queen of Lebanese descent, her spent her early years in Queens, is already coming under scrutiny for these racy pictures taken in 2007..

Rima was taking part in "Mojo in the Morning's" annual "Super 101" contest. The Detroit-based radio station teaches women to dance with a stripper pole and then holds a contest, judged by strippers.

In 2007, Rima Fakih won that contest.

The stations co-host Shannon Murphy tells PIX 11 News, "Rima did not take her clothes off, in fact she is more clothed than in the racy lingerie pictures taken of all the MIss USA contestants. Rima is a friend of ours and the radio station, and we support her. We are proud of our hometown girl."

This is not the first time, Miss USA winners and runners up have created a media stir. 2006 winner Tara connor tested positive for cocaine use and entered rehab after photos surfaced of her partying in New York and kissing Miss Teen USA, Katie Blair in public. Then, last year runner up Carrie Prejean was stripped of her Miss California crown after making controversial statements about gay marriage, and subsequently partially nude photos of her were released.

A spokesperson for the Miss Universe Organization says "this is much ado about nothing and no big deal." In fact Donald Trump, doesn't even plan to make a statement. All he said was this quote to TMZ "Obviously she has great imagination but she's fully clothed and a high quality person. We back her to the hilt."
