The NYPD is investigating a home invasion that occurred inside an apartment building in the Murray Hill section of Manhattan.
It happened early Thursday morning at 151 East 33rd Street, between Third and Lexington Avenues. The building has a hair salon on the ground floor, and apartments located above. According to police, a specific location within the building may have been targeted.
Police are searching for two men in connection with the home invasion.
One has been described as a White man dressed as a police officer, complete with a blue uniform and badge; the other has been described as a Hispanic man wearing an orange sweatsuit, according to officials.
Police said the two men may have fled in an orange Hummer vehicle.
A doorman who works at an apartment building nearby said the Hummer was parked on 33rd Street for a while.
Officials said there were no injuries reported during the home invasion.
