Daniel Carcillo scored 3:35 into overtime and the Philadelphia Flyers beat the New Jersey Devils 3-2 in Game Three of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals.
Philadelphia took a 2-1 series lead. Carcillo put home Mike Richards' rebound, beating Martin Brodeur to his right. It was Carcillo's first post season goal.
The Flyers were more aggressive, outshooting the Devils 34-19 and 6-1 in overtime. New Jersey wasted Brian Rolston's two power play goals.
Richards had a goal and an assist. Brodeur made 31 saves while Philadelphia goaltender Brian Boucher made 17.
