Fire officials are on the scene of a tractor-trailer explosion at a gas station early Friday morning in Westchester County.
Streets in the area near Pelham Parkway and Secor Lane are completely blocked off as officials investigate what may have caused the explosion.
Pelham Manor Fire Chief Joseph Ruggiero told PIX11 News that there were no injuries, and only a driver and gas station attendant were the only two people in the immediate area.
There is extensive fire damage to the gas station and convenience store.
The flames spread to nearby stores and firefighters fought the blaze using a chemical foam.
Con Edison is reporting at least 130 customers are without power as a result of the explosion.Copyright © 2014, The Baltimore Sun
