The 2012 Ryder Cup is not only bringing some of the world's best golfers to Medinah Country Club, but it's also attracting tens of thousands of fans and their crazy outfits.
Fans who showed up at the course on Friday sported all kinds of nutty-looking hats, pants, and other outfits that showed their country's colors.
Thousands of people arrived overnight so they could get the best spots on the course on Friday.
"If you're into golf, you understand it. It's Eurpoean. This is like, to me, the all-star of golf. This is the all-star game," said one spectator.
40,000 spectators are expected every day of the tournament.
The Ryder Cup is expected to give a $130 million economic boost to the area.
The P.G.A. gave $415,000 to Lake Park High School for its parking lot and buildings.
