Rosie O'Donnell is reportedly leaving Chicago and relocating her talk show to New York City.
The Huffington Post reports that insiders who work on the show say O'Donnell finds it difficult to get guests to travel to Chicago and appear on her show. She is also unhappy about having her family commute from New York to Chicago while she tapes the show at Oprah Winfrey's Harpo Studios on the Near West Side.
Her fiance' and children live in New York and travel to Chicago on some weekends.
The report comes just a day after O'Donnell reportedly found a buyer for her 6,000 square foot home in Lakeview. The home was listed last week for $2.5 million.
In recent weeks, "The Rosie Show", has gone through several changes, including staff cuts and eliminating a live audience.
The show debuted on Winfrey's OWN cable network in December.
O'Donnell's producers and network spokespeople are not commenting about the reported move.Copyright © 2014, The Baltimore Sun
