Cake Truffles

Ingredients:
1 package cake mix
1 16 oz. container prepared chocolate frosting
1 package almond bark

Directions:
Prepare cake mix according to package directions. Crumble into a bowl while still warm. If you are using day-old cake or cupcakes, pulse cake in food processor until it crumbles. Using a hand mixer. stir in frosting until well mixed. Chill mixture for a couple of hours in the refrigerator. Remove from refrigerator and using a melon baler or small scoop form into balls. Place the truffles on wax paper and freeze for 10 minutes or refrigerate for 1 hour. Melt the chocolate in a double boiler or the microwave. Working in small batches, dip the truffles in the melted chocolate. Place the truffles on wax paper to harden, At this point you can drizzle other chocolate on the truffles for decoration.

Tips:
You may want to add a little oil to chocolate coating to make it spread easier
Use toothpicks to help dip the balls
Great way to use day-old cake
