Two Men Killed in Wilmington Car Crash

(WGN-AM) - The driver and passenger in a car that collided with another car in Wilmington died on the scene of the crash, the Will County coroner's office said.

Gregory M Henderson, 44, of Lockport Township, was driving, and Robert J. Brown Jr., 33, of Braidwood, was his passenger, according to the Will County coroner's office. The vehicle they were in hit another vehicle in the crash, according to the office.

The crash happened on Ill. Hwy. 53, about 130 feet west of 216th Avenue in Wilmington, according to a coroner's press release.

Both men were pronounced dead on the scene, according to the coroner's office.

Wilimington police and the Illinois State Police are both investigating the accident.
