Don't forget that, in addition to this blog, you can find us on, on  Twitter, on Facebook and our Yahoo group

Our New Music Monday Magic Laser lands on a sneak preview of "Best Regards & Less Of The Same," by Suzi Ragsdale. This terrific double CD by the daughter of hitmaker Ray Stevens won't be officially released til Febuary, but we thought it was too good to wait so, we're sharing it with you now.

Engrossed by the prospect of the The Book of Eli starring Denzel Washington and Gary Oldman? Going to extraordinary measures to see Extraordinary Measures with Harrison Ford and Brandon Frasier? Falling in line to see Michael Cera in Youth In Revolt? Will 2010 be a good year for Amy Adams with her new romantic-comedyLeap Year?

We'll preview these and more of January's big screen releases and review some of best movies of 2009 with Hank Sartin, Film Editor for Time Out Chicago.

For many years, as our Monday night segued into the wee hours of Tuesday morning, we'd check to see who our friend Les Paul had been jamming with at the Iridium Jazz Club, in New York. Now and then Les would surprise us with a call after his show. Once again, tonight we'll take a few minutes and remember the amazing Les Paul and his legacy as we revisit part of an interview, a story, a laugh or, most importantly, his music and listen to "A Little More Les."

Tonight's the night! In May of 2009 we began our Monthly Photo Challenge. We've been blown away as each month we received tons of great submissions. Tonight, as we tackle your photography questions with ace photographer/photo educator and CEO of, Will Crockett, we'll announce the winner of our December / January theme "Holiday Traditions". The winner will immediately be entered in our Picture Of The Year Challenge and just might win a really cool camera. Yes, we'll be announcing our Picture Of The Year winner winner tonight, too! Sheesh! Have we got our work cut out for us, or what? You can click here to see the other nominees.

Here's a link to a special page of camera information for tonight's show that Will created just for our listeners.

Due to the holidays, our regular Radio Road Tests won't resume til next week. However, we'll talk cars with the man who is approaching THREE MILLION miles on his 1966 Volvo P1800, our long distance, long drive friend, Irv Gordon.

Don't forget you can check our Radio Road Test Audio Archives for past reviews.

Once again, joining Wayne, as he celebrates his and Elvis' birthday this month, is an Elvis expert who goes by many names ("The Polish Princes" / "Den Pal Dawn" / "Top Rock Girly Jock" - which just happens to be the title of her, just published autobiography!), Connie Szerzen.

We highlight some of the best bang for the buck options this weekend in our 4 AM hour as we present The Weekend!

As always, you might want to check back in this blog post now and then to see any changes to this week's schedule as we know them.
