20 East Downer Place in Aurora, Illinois 60505 Exhibit runs through September 29. Wednesdays-Saturdays, noon-4pm Parking is free across the street in the city garage if the ticket is stamped in the society gift shop.

Aurora's Hispanic communities, including Mexicans, Tejanos and Puerto Ricans, step into the spotlight at the Aurora Historical Society at the opening reception on September 7 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. which kicks off a mini-exhibit on their contributions to the development of the city. The reception will feature authentic foods and beverages, as well as live music, and dancing by members of the Ballet Folklorico.
