Early on, Hannah had an immediate connection with food -- and found herself eating it a few times a day -- sometimes even snacking in between regularly scheduled meals. Food has always been a part of her life as far back as she can remember.
In all seriousness, throughout grade school, she would watch cooking shows instead of cartoons. In junior high she waited hours to meet Julia Childs and have her autograph a cookbook. Instead of teen magazines, she would thumb through cookbooks. After taking several cake decorating classes, and winning several cake decorating contests, it was obvious to most that this was a lifelong interest.
Flavor HD is a natural combination of her on-air talent and her general obsession with all things food/cooking/baking/nutrition and kitchen related.
Herself a radio veteran, Hannah has worked at many of the country's most recognized stations, and with many of Chicago’s top personalities.Hannah lives in suburban Chicagoland with her husband and children, focused on teaching them how to whisk and zest, and the science behind flavors.
Having interviewed everyone in food from Bobby Flay to the legendary Jacques Pepin... from Tom Colicchio and Top Chefs to Andrew Zimermn and the truly bizarre... Giada, Guy Fieri and great foodies everywhere, Dane Neal has talked to those who have cooked and tasted it all… and as co-host of Restaurant Radio America, Dane has broadcasted live from The Aspen Food and Wine Classic and been on the scene at the biggest food events in America from New York to California.
A radio veteran of Chicago drive-time radio and host-creator of multiple national radio shows including auto racing's "Gasoline Alley... The Fastest Show in Radio" and "Restaurant Radio America." Dane lives in suburban Chicagoland wih his family where he cooks up food radio and also helps to bring the world’s greatest blueberries to the masses.
