Chicago Police Officer Clifton Lewis Fundraiser

In honor of Chicago Police Officer Clifton Lewis, who was fatally wounded in Chicago on December 29, 2011, Chick-fil-A Loyola Water Tower will be accepting donations on January 5th, 2012 from 6am-10:30pm to support his family.

Officer Lewis served Chicago for eight years and was assigned to the Austin District. Donations from customers will be accepted at the registers in the Restaurant, located at the corner of Chicago Avenue and Wabash. Chick-fil-A Loyola Water Tower will also be donating a percentage of daily sales on Thursday to Officer Lewis's family.

"The death of Officer Clifton Lewis is a tragic loss that hits close to home. As the wife of a Chicago Police Officer, I can't imagine what his family is going through," said Lauren Silich, Owner/Operator of Chick-fil-A Loyola Water Tower. "We here at Chick-fil-A Loyola Water Tower are saddened beyond belief, and our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends and the entire Chicago Police Department."
