Disney announced plans for the redo of Pleasure Island at Downtown Disney -- a bustling port district with restaurants, shops and live music called Hyperion Wharf.

Defunct plans for Hyperion Wharf
Although it never came to pass, in 2010, Disney announced plans for a re-imagined Pleasure Island that was supposed to be a take on 20th century amusement piers, Hyperion Wharf was to feature trendy boutiques, a lakeside park and unique dining among a wonderland of lights.
