El Encanto in Santa Barbara: Inside the newly restored hotel
Seven years is a long time for a hotel to go dark, but that's how long it took Orient-Express Hotels to restore El Encanto in Santa Barbara's Riviera neighborhood. The 92 bungalows remain faithful to the hotel's classic look, which includes Craftsman and Spanish Colonial Revival touches. Here are some photos of what's new -- and not so new -- at the historic hotel that officially opens Friday.
