The kids' area of Wet 'n Wild had not been renovated in years, Martin says.

"Kids parks are popular, and we appeal to families with kids," he says. "And if you're appealing to families with kids, you have to be able to satisfy all of them."

•Sometime in July: The expanded Dumbo ride and other Fantasyland expansion projects open at Magic Kingdom.
