Disney Imagineers have added some props inspired by the classic animated film "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" to the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, an upcoming attraction at Fantasyland inside Magic Kingdom.
Props include buckets full of fake jewels, lanterns, ropes, pulleys and a "Diamond Pass" sign.
The added details signify that the new roller coaster might be entering the finishing stages.
The Seven Dwarfs Mine Train will tell the story of “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” from the perspective of the dwarfs, taking riders on an indoor-and-outdoor trip, with side-to-side swaying cars. Disney officials have said that the intensity of the coaster will be between that of sister Magic Kingdom coasters Barnstormer and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.
It had previously been announced that the ride -- which has been opened in stages since 2012 --would be done in spring 2014, but recently, there has been no mention of a target opening date.
Fantasyland, the largest expansion ever for Magic Kingdom, currently features two sections -- the Enchanted Forest and Storybook Circus -- which include the dueling Dumbo rides, Enchanted Tales with Belle, Under the Sea ~ Journey of the Little Mermaid, The Barnstormer and Casey Jr. Splash 'N' Soak Station. Fantasyland also features popular dining spots, like Gaston's Tavern and Be Our Guest Restaurant.
