Princess Fairytale Hall at Disney
The Princess Fairytale Hall is set to open in Fantasyland at Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom in the space once occupied by Snow White's Scary Adventures (Walt Disney Co. /September 12, 2013)
Characters from "Frozen," Disney's next animated feature, will make appearances at Epcot's Norway pavilion and in a Magic Kingdom presentation later this year, Disney World announced.
The film, which debuts in theaters on Nov. 27, features optimistic Anna, a mountain man, a reindeer sidekick, a funny snowman named Olaf and Anna's sister Elsa, also known as the Snow Queen.
Starting in early November, Anna and Elsa will be in Norway. They will greet guests through Jan. 4, Disney says. Nearby will be a new gallery exhibit spotlighting the culture and beauty of Norway, which inspired the "Frozen" filmmakers.
The film's voice stars include Kristen Bell ("Veronica Mars," "Forgetting Sarah Marshall"), Idina Menzel ("Enchanted," "Rent," Broadway's "Wicked") and Josh Gad ("Jobs," "Love and Other Drugs").
As the holiday season cranks up, "Frozen" will be included in a segment of "Celebrate the Magic," the castle-projection show at Magic Kingdom.
