The Little Mermaid wing is now open at Disney's Art of Animation Resort, marking the fourth and final puzzle piece in the newest resort at Walt Disney World.
The resort opened to fanfare with the Finding Nemo wing back in May followed by Cars in June and the Lion King in August. The resort is labeled one of Disney's value resorts, and looks to cater to families, especially those with more than four in their party. The first three wings feature 1,120 family suites that include two bathrooms, a kitchenette and three separate sleeping areas for up to six guest. Rates begin from $248 a night.
The Little Mermaid wing features 864 standard rooms with rates as low as $94 a night. The Little Mermaid section also is features the courtyard Flippin' Fins pool with large icons of Ariel, Flounder, Ursula and King Triton.
The rooms are brought to you by the color blue, with lots of underwater touches like oyster-shell-shaped headboards and shell-shaped lamps.
The resort is located near Disney's Hollywood Studios and ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex with bus transportation available to all of Walt Disney World Resort's parks.
