D-Luxe Burger, a Disney-owned and operated craft burger restaurant will open this May at Disney Springs, Disney said Tuesday.
The restaurant will be located in the under-construction Town Center portion of Disney Springs.
The official Disney Parks Blog gave some details on what we might expect from D-Luxe Burger, which will feature gourmet-style burgers and artisanal gelato milkshakes.
The interior will be western-inspired, while a covered outdoor seating area will overlook the artificial spring at Disney Springs.
Disney detailed six burgers that will be on the menu. Two of the more interesting ones are the Southern Classic Burger -- a beef patty, topped with fried-green tomato, pimento cheese, lettuce and bacon -- and the El Diablo Burger, which is a chorizo-and-signature-blend patty topped with fried banna peppers, pepper jack cheese, lettuce tomato and and chipotle mayonnaise.
There is also a classic cheeseburger, Barbecue Classic Burger, Cluck Burger (chicken sandwich with garlic herb sauce, avocado, lettuce and tomato) and a veggie burger topped with Tzatziki, green bean salad, lettuce and tomato.
For sides D-Luxe Burger will feature freshly cut fries with a choice of dipping sauces.
The milkshake flavors offered will rotate, and can include vanilla, chocolate, raspberry, strawberry, salted caramel, s’mores and cake. Soda floats will also be available, along with hard sodas, draft beer, cider and adult milkshakes like the Smoked Bourbon and Beer and Godiva Raspberry.
The Red Velvet Burger Macaron is a dessert more than a burger, though they are made to look like your classic American cheeseburger.
Other new dining venues set for Disney Springs include Amorette's Patisserie, Tablas Frontera, a Mexican-themed restaurant via chef Rick Bayless; and Homecoming -- Florida Kitchen and Shine Bar from chef Art Smith.
