On a recent day at the Ocean City boardwalk, we saw plenty of ink on display. Although the resort town doesn't have a permanent tattoo parlor, visitors can get henna tattoos and air-brushed tattoos. Susan Bilello, visiting from Virginia, watched as her two teenage sons - Liam and Ian - each received temporary tattoos done in henna. "I won't let them get real tattoos, so I figure we're on vacation and I'd let them do it," she said. The henna tattoos last from 7 to 10 days. Those looking for a more permanent souvenir can head to Fenwick Island, where you can find Matthew Amey's Independent Tattoo. "We opened 17 years ago," said Amey, who was at the boardwalk participating in a Plein Air event. He said popular tattoos this summer include infinity signs, anchors and text. "Everything that you see on television."
