Tickets for the Dew Tour's Pantech Open in Ocean City have sold out for Friday and Saturday and tickets for Sunday are going fast.
The four-day action sports event, featuring athletes like Olympic medalist Shaun White and Dundalk skateboarder Bucky Lasek, begins tomorrow north of the pier in Ocean City. It's the Dew Tour's first visit to the Eastern Shore and the first time it will hold a competition on the beach.
A spokesperson for the Pantech Open estimates that fewer than half of the tickets remain for the final day of events on July 24.
According to the schedule, Sunday will feature the BMX Vert Final and Skateboard Final.
Preparations for the Dew Tour have been going smoothly and Ocean City is making a great first impression.
“It’s been amazing so far. The crowds are really packing in,” said a spokesperson for the tour.
General admission tickets for Sunday are $26 and will be on sale in Ocean City at the entrance to the Festival Village.
Admission to the village is free as is a surfing expo on Friday night and a beach concert featuring Kid Cudi on Saturday night.
