The Mob Museum opens in Las Vegas
The National Museum of Organized Crime and Law Enforcement opens on February 14 and chronicles the history of organized crime in America and the efforts of law enforcement to combat it.

Mayor Goodman arrives
Former Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman (C) arrives with members of the San Diego Police Museum Association during the grand opening of The Mob Museum. Goodman is also known as a former mob attorney for representing alleged mobsters such as Meyer Lansky, Frank Rosenthal and Anthony Spilotro.
