Run For Your Lives
Experience "The Walking Dead" live, at the Run For Your Lives 5K Obstacle Course located at Camp Ramblewood in Darlington. You can watch runners test their ability to survive the zombie apocalypse, while they try and complete 12 man-made and natural obstacles. Afterwards, party with humans and zombies at the Apocalypse Party, which includes live entertainment, food vendors and plenty of drinks.
Event takes place Oct. 27 and 28. Spectator ticket prices for Oct. 27 are $32 online and $40 at the event. Tickets on Oct. 28 are $20 and may only be purchased at the event. Children are welcome and free if they are under 10. For more information, go to runforyourlives.com.
Magic of the Night
Magician Stephen Night's Halloween-themed magic show is fun for the entire family. The annual event includes illusions, special effects, music, pyrotechnics and more. You can also bring the little ones to The Grand Spooktacular an hour before the show, which has crafts and trick-or-treating.

Enjoy a one-of-a-kind dance battle, presented by Da Originalz, at the Dance Place. The hip-hop dance battle features a performance of Beat Ya Feat, an urban dance that originated in Washington that involves percussion-filled go-go rhythms.

CreepyWoods Haunted Forest
Walk through the terrifying trails at CreepyWoods Haunted Forest. The outdoor attraction, which was named one of the "Top 10 Hallow Screams" by the Weather Channel, is celebrating its fifth anniversary. Enjoy an extended trail with more action, monsters, and scares. Located at Hubers Farm in Kingsville.
The attraction is open Oct. 26-28, 30 and 31. Friday and Saturday hours are 7:30 to 11 p.m., Sunday and all other hours are 7:30 to 10 p.m. Ticket prices range from $20 to $30 and can be purchased online, or cash only at the door.
