Enjoy a taste of something sweet at the 22nd annual Chocolate Festival in downtown Rehoboth Beach on Saturday, March 3. The festival includes a seven-category chocolate baking contest open to all levels of skill, from professional chocolatiers to children. Vendors will be selling treats, and kids can enjoy the Rehoboth Cooperative Preschool's Chunk of Chocolate Children's Fun. Lewes Dairy will also be on hand — what goes better with chocolate than milk?
The festival is at the Rehoboth Beach Convention Center. Admission is $2. Children under 5 are free. Bake-off entries must arrive by 8:30 a.m. Tastings begin at 11:30 a.m. Sample tastings are 50 cents. For entry information, visit downtownrehoboth.com or call 302-227-2772.
Mark the 50th anniversary of the historic Ash Wednesday storm that rocked Ocean City on March 6 and 7, 1962, by having dinner with some of the survivors. That nor'easter is considered one of the most destructive to ever hit the Mid-Atlantic, killing 40 people and injuring more than 1,000 in the region. The Ocean City Life-Saving Station Museum's "Storm Party" dinner on March 7 will highlight memories of the storm and also raise money to install storm shutters on the museum.
The dinner at the Roland E. Powell Convention Center starts at 6 p.m., with cocktails at 5:30 p.m. Reservations are available through March 2. Tickets are $50 per person. Visit ocmuseum.org for tickets.

Atlantic City Restaurant Week
More than 65 of Atlantic City's restaurants invite you to relish their three-course meals during Atlantic City Restaurant Week, March 4-10. Latin, Irish, Japanese, Mexican and American dishes await from dining spots such as Buddakan, FIN at the Tropicana, Chelsea Prime and Knife & Fork Inn. Lunch is priced at $15.12 and dinner is $33.12, per person. Beverage and tip are additional.

Tour de Tanks
Sample wines straight from the barrel starting Saturday, March 3 at vineyards along the Mason-Dixon Wine Trail. The annual Tour de Tanks wine event features 14 Pennsylvania to Maryland wineries opening their doors for tastings and conversations with winemakers. Over five weekends, wineries will be pairing with local restaurants to host winemaker dinners. Participating wineries include Allegro Winery, Boordy Vineyards, Hummingbird Ridge Winery, Reid's Orchard & Winery and The Vineyard at Hershey.
Tickets are $25. Designated drivers are $15. One ticket is good for all event weekends. Tickets are required for ages 3 and up; visitors must be 21 or older to sample wine. Visit uncorkyork.com for tickets.
Embassy Chef Challenge
Pans will sizzle and aromas will fill the air at the Embassy Chef Challenge on March 8. The "Top Chef"-style culinary competition features more than a dozen chefs from D.C.'s Embassy Row, representing countries from around the world. A panel of celebrity chefs and food critics, including "Top Chef" finalist Carla Hall, will judge the competition. A "People's Choice" winner will be chosen by attendees, who get to meet the chefs while sampling their food. A silent auction will feature prizes including embassy tours, tea with ambassadors and more.
