Dead shark washes up on Ocean City beach

A 6-foot-long shark washed up Monday on the 120th Street beach in Ocean City.

The shark was dead when it washed up, town officials said, and Ocean City lifeguards pulled it from the water in front of a crowd of beach-goers. It was unclear what type of shark it was, town officials said.

No other information was immediately available.
