Betsy Wendell, owner of Octavia II in Baltimore, suggests that you mix and match from different stores and varying price points. She practices what she preaches as we saw when we glimpsed her on the boardwalk in Ocean City. Her Jude Connally keyhole patterned dress is from her own boutique. The dress is a wash and wear material perfect for travel. Her earrings are International Bijoux. The heart charm bracelet is a Mother's Day gift from her son. Another bracelet -- given to the Towson resident by the original owner of Octavia -- never leaves her wrist. Her rhinestone adorned custom sunglasses are by Jimmy Crystal. Her diamond ring she purchased at a flea market in Martha's Vineyard. The leather bag was purchased at a Zac Posen sample sale in New York City. And her Jack Rogers sandals she purchased at a consignment shop in Roland Park for $5. "You don't have to buy everything from Octavia II," Wendell said with a laugh. "It's good to mix and match."
