Turkey Hill isn't the only tour in town. Several new and notable factory tours have opened recently in the region, many in York County, which bills itself as the "Factory Tour Capital of the World."

Miss. Lucy's Dog Treats



Visitors are invited into the kitchen to watch as dog treats are mixed, shaped, baked and decorated. The kitchen is a converted two-car garage where the treats, made of all-natural products, are made — 120 to 150 dozen treats a day, with over 30 different kinds of treats in a variety of sizes. Julius Sturgis Pretzel Bakery



Opened in 1861 as the first pretzel bakery in America. This tour provides an opportunity to learn not only about the bakery's unique history but you'll also get a hands-on pretzel-twisting lesson from the experts and see bakers twisting soft pretzels by hand. Tour availability: Bakery tours offered Monday through Saturday 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Closed Sundays, major holidays, and from New Year's Day until Martin Luther King, Jr. weekend.
