A Baltimore County resident, I had the pleasure of visiting Barbados with my family this past December. My son Brian and I went snorkeling off the coast of Carlisle Bay and swam with the incredible and endangered Hawks bill turtles pictured above. With the lure of breadcrumbs, these 3 to 4 foot long turtles were not shy; they swam right up to us. The photo was captured with my underwater Kodak Playsport.
