Flushing Meadows-Corona Park

Queens' Flushing Meadows-Corona Park has long been home to many cultural gems, including the 1939 and 1964 Worlds Fair, celebrating their 50th and 75th anniversaries in 2014. The iconic Unisphere of 1964's fair, a 12-story spherical steel globe symbolizing the dawn of the space age, resides as a centerpiece of the Park. Also in the park are USTA Billie Jean National Tennis Center (home to the US Open), the New York Hall of Science and Citi Field. (
