Pictures: Baltimore's Checkered Flag Girls
As roving ambassadors for Labor Day weekend's Baltimore Grand Prix, the Checkered Flag Girls will be appearing throughout the area in the weeks leading up to the event. With hundreds of thousands of car-crazed visitors expected for the three-day event, the Checkered Flag Girls may have their work cut out for them, familiarizing newcomers with the city and ensuring Baltimore lives up to its nickname of "Charm City."

What do you do when you're not a Checkered Flag Girl?: Studying to become a massage therapist.
Were you a racing fan before you became a Checkered Flag Girl: "Yes. I like Sprint car races. But being invested gives me a little bit more interest in Indy cars and other series."
Favorite thing about Baltimore: "Definitely the Inner Harbor. There's the aquarium, it's pretty. There are a lot of fun things to look at."
What would you say to a first-time visitor to Charm City?: "Check out the aquarium. There are a lot of interesting things, a lot to look at, a lot to learn."
