Ship profile: Norwegian Majesty

The Norwegian Majesty's nine decks of intimate settings and lively atmosphere is popular with many local cruise fans who will be sad to see it make its final sailing from Baltimore in August. In 2008, Norwegian Cruise Lines sold the ship to an operator in Europe, where it will be repositioned later this year. In the mean time, it continues to be operated by NCL. The ship, which sails 5-day and 7-day itineraries from Baltimore, is a good choice for those who enjoy smaller cruises. The Majesty offers lots of dining and entertainment options, but without the grand theme decor of larger cruise ships. The cabins are comfortable and well-furnished and the ship features five bars and nine lounges as well as live entertainment. The ship typically spends three days in port in Bermuda, giving you more time to enjoy dancing, shopping, and relaxing on the island's pink sand beaches.
