18. Valley Forge National Historical Park

Get out, get some fresh air and bike around the park, all while immersing yourself in Civil War history. The park, which links the city to the Appalachian Trail, Valley Forge National Historical Park is one the same land where Continental commander George Washington and his troops camped for an awful winter during the war.
