Denise Richards is set to play an exotic dancer in Alejandro Chomski's "A Beautiful Life."
So giddy is Variety about the idea of the "Wild Things" star taking this indie trip to the wild side that the trade paper offers no other information about the film except to note that Jesse Garcia ("Quinceanera") plays the male lead.
The supporting cast of the film, adapted by Wendy Hammond from her own play, includes Dana Delany, Debi Mazar and Michael Madsen. Production on the feature, budgeted at under $5 million, will begin in Los Angeles this summer.
Chomski has completed work on "Reggaeton," a music-themed drama produced by Jennifer Lopez.
Most recently seen, for a brief period at least, in UPN's drama "Sex, Love & Secrets," Richards will next be seen opposite Pamela Anderson in the comedy "Blonde and Blonder."
