Colorado Springs, CO - AP
Colorado police have arrested a soldier from Michigan on suspicion of first-degree murder and sexual assault.
The arrest came after police say he led them to the body of a teenage woman who had been missing since Friday.
Twenty-one-year-old Robert Hull Marko is a Fort Carson specialist from Decatur. He was booked into the El Paso County Criminal Justice Center Tuesday.
Nineteen-year-old Judilianna Lawrence was reported missing Friday from her Stratmoor Valley home south of Colorado Springs. Authorities say an autopsy to verify the identity of the body was pending, said sheriff's Lt. Lara Sevene.
Police say Marko led investigators to the body in a wooded area behind Colorado Springs' Broadmoor neighborhood.
