A new online college aimed at working adults seems to be working in Indiana. WGU Indiana is a private, non-profit university for workers who want to get their bachelor's or master's degrees.

At the start of September, 500 students were enrolled which is almost double the enrollment from June when Governor Mitch Daniels announced a partnership allowing students to use state scholarships to pay for tuition.

The school costs about $6,000 a year but students are charged a flat rate and move at their own pace.
