Indianas4.com, one of Indianapolis' newest websites, has a unique opportunity for someone with a passion for local sports, especially High School Sports. WXIN/WTTV is looking for a Site Manager to oversee the development of sports content for Indianas4.com.
The site manager will Responsible for development, implementation and maintenance of the website and oversees the development of web content to ensures that the site meets the needs of its visitors. They will performs a variety of tasks and will leads and direct the work of others, including existing on-air sports staff. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Candidates should be familiar with a variety of web concepts, practices, and procedures. Bachelors Degree in Journalism, Mass Communications, or related field, or equivalent related experience. Requires the demonstrated ability to tell a compelling story while adding production value to the project. Excellent writing skills and video production experience a must. Experience with web production interfaces, HTML editing software, Microsoft
office, Photoshop, encoding tools, World Wide Web/Internet, FTP, network issues, Final Cut Pro and various multi-media platforms a plus. However, this is NOT a web design position.
