Kokomo residents arrested for possession, manufacturing methamphetamine

Two Kokomo residents were arrested on methamphetamine-related charges Wednesday.

Two Kokomo residents were arrested on methamphetamine-related charges Wednesday.

Officers responded to the 1200 block of West Taylor around 9:15 p.m. Wednesday. Investigators said they could smell an odor consistent with the manufacturing of methamphetamine. They also found a powdery substance in plain view.

After obtaining a search warrant, authorities found drug paraphernalia and precursors commonly used to manufacture methamphetamine inside of the residence.

Penelope Dimitt, 51, is charged with Possession of Methamphetamine and Manufacturing Methamphetamine.  Billie Koon, 52, is charged with Possession of Methamphetamine and Manufacturing Methamphetamine.

Both were arrested and are currently in custody at the Howard County Jail.
