A two-year-old injured during Tuesday's severe weather is in fair condition Peyton Manning Children's Hospital. Family members say he has a skull fracture and will require surgery.

The toddler was hurt when a tree broke outside his home east of Noblesville. The tree shattered the glass in the kitchen area of the house, slicing the boy's forehead.

Relatives say the boy's mom called 911 multiple times but couldn't get through. She grabbed her injured child and his one-year-old brother and ran for help. "She got the kids gathered up and ran down the street trying to find somebody that would watch her other one while she made a phone call to get an ambulance out here," said Martin Johnson, the boy's grandfather.

Noblesville police say there were about 200 calls to 911 in the span of an hour because of the severe weather.
