Susan Brooks, Scott Reske to battle for retiring Dan Burton's seat

Brooks beat out eight Republican's in Tuesday's primary.

Susan Brooks defeated several challengers to win the GOP primary in Congressional District 5 Tuesday.

Brooks will face Indiana Representative Scott Reske for the chance to fill retiring Republican Representative Dan Burton's seat. Burton has served for 30 years.

Reske beat out Tony Long in Tuesday's primary. 

Brooks beat out eight Republican's in Tuesday's primary.

Once the final results were tallied, Brooks beat McIntosh by 983 votes therefore, it's possible a recount may be ordered.
