Martin University has a new leader. Dr. George Miller has been named the school's new president.
He is the third president in the school's 35-year history.
Miller was born in Indiana and has most recently served as Vice President for Academic Affairs at Claflin University in South Carolina.
Miller said the decision to come to Martin University was an easy one.
"The more I found out about the university, the more intrigued I was in terms of its mission and what the university was about,” said Miller.
Miller has several degrees in Chemistry. He also worked for NASA prior to his academic career.
